UZOO LLC (“UZOO” or “we” or “us”) owns and runs various websites, including but not limited to http://www.UZOO.com (the “Site”), through which we offer various services and software (the Site, other websites and the services and software are collectively referred to herein as the “Services”).

This is the official privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy") for the Services, and this Privacy Policy applies whether you are accessing the Services via a personal computer, a mobile device or any other technology or devices now known or hereafter developed or discovered.

A link to this Privacy Policy is included on the homepage of the Site. UZOO respects the privacy of its users. This document explains how UZOO may use the information that you provide to us via the Services. UZOO may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. If UZOO does so, the revised Privacy Policy will be posted on the Site.

Overview: This Privacy Policy is intended to explain our privacy practices and inform you as to:
• The kinds of Personal Information we collect from users of the Site and how that information is collected;
• How we use your Personal Information;
• The circumstances under which we disclose Personal Information to third parties; and
• The mechanisms we have implemented to protect your Personal Information.


1. Information Collected. You are not required to provide personally identifiable information to visit the Site or use the Services.

Aggregate Usage Data and Anonymized Data. UZOO may collect usage data based on users’ usage of the Site and the Services, but it is not personally identifiable except as described below under the IP Addresses section ("Aggregate Data"). UZOO may collect other information and data regarding our users, and remove any personally identifiable information (“Anonymized Data”).

Personal Information for Social Features. From time to time, UZOO may introduce features that allow friends to share more information about themselves with other friends, including information about what they are doing on UZOO. Whenever a social feature involves the disclosure of personally identifiable information about you to other people, UZOO will either provide you with an opportunity to opt out of the disclosure or will seek your consent prior to making the disclosure.

File or Picture Transfer. When you use the file or picture transfer feature of UZOO, the file that you transfer may be copied and retained on the servers of our third party service provider for a period of time following the transfer. Neither UZOO nor the third party service provider accesses or uses these files for any purpose, but you should be aware that these files are not encrypted and that they could be disclosed in legal proceedings or investigations.

Demographic and Geographic Data. UZOO may ask people to voluntarily provide additional demographic information such as age, gender, location, and interests. We may use demographic information to improve our services and to provide you with features like customized advertising. In addition, UZOO may receive geographic or demographic information from outside sources. These sources may include companies whom we have engaged in accordance with the terms hereof to provide that information based on information that you have provided to us, from the third-party sites that may refer you to the Site, or from other partners such as in connection with a co-branded website or a promotion. UZOO may combine the information we receive from those other sources with information we collect through the Services.

2. Storage, Disclosure and Use of Your Communications. You can use UZOO to chat in private and/or anonymous IM sessions. Do not disclose personally identifiable information through the Services since it may be saved on our server(s) as publicly available information. Do not share personal information in a private chat unless it's someone you know well. You share such information at your own risk and UZOO has no control over use of any information that you disclose to third parties in chat or via the Services.

UZOO may retain logs, records or transcripts of your anonymous chats, which are also saved on our servers as chat or message histories and which are also accessible to the public (including law enforcement officials and other authorities). Keep in mind that even if you elect not to store your IM or chat log(s), the person that you're chatting with may be storing your conversation, either on UZOO or on their own computers. By using UZOO, you consent to the storage of your IM history and/or chat logs on UZOO and to the storing of your IM history and/or chat logs by other users with whom you are chatting. UZOO may disclose saved IM history in legal proceedings or investigations in the same manner as other personally identifiable information as set forth herein.

UZOO may customize the advertising shown to users based on software analysis of chat or IM conversations.

3. Cookies. UZOO may use cookies when you use the Services. Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer's hard drive by our servers to identify your computer to our servers. Except as provided in Section 5, below, no personally identifiable information stored in the UZOO cookies will be shared with outside companies for any purpose without your permission. You can also disable cookies or otherwise manage them through tools provided with your browser software and with third-party software packages, or not use the features that require cookies.

We and our advertisers may use third-party companies to serve ads when you use the Services. These third-party ad-serving companies may also place cookies on your computer. Sometimes these cookies may be used to provide customized advertising to you on the Websites or on other sites. These advertising companies may also use Web beacons to help manage and optimize our online advertising.

4. IP Addresses. UZOO compiles logs of IP addresses of users of the Services for administrative and analytical purposes. UZOO does not routinely collect any personally identifiable information through its compilation of IP addresses or the location of computers on the Internet. However, in cases of suspected abuse or service problems, UZOO may use an IP address in conjunction with other personally identifiable information to enforce our Terms of Use and/or to protect or troubleshoot the Services, its users or others who may be affected. Except as otherwise provided herein, UZOO will not share personally identifiable information associated with IP addresses with third parties. UZOO may share data about aggregate IP addresses, but such data does not include personally identifiable information.

5. Usage and Sharing of Information.
Usage of Information. UZOO may use the information it collects, including your personal information, aggregated data, and Anonymized Data, for the following purposes: to provide you with the Services; to enhance and improve our Services; to provide customized advertising to you; to conduct research; to determine your geographic location or other demographic information about you; to create reports and to analyze usage patterns.

Sharing of Information. UZOO may share personally identifiable information with third parties in the following cases: to enable the normal course of functionality of the Services; with trusted third party service providers who help us in the operation of the Services and who have agreed to maintain the confidentiality of the data; as part of UZOO’s social features; in cases of abusive behavior or suspected violations of the Terms of Use of the Services or of any third party website where Services are offered, we may share personal information, including IP address, with that third parties or other persons assisting any of us in order to investigate the violation and to take appropriate action; where we have a good faith belief that it is required in order to respond to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal process, to prevent fraud or imminent harm, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.

In the event that UZOO is acquired by or merged with another company or transfers substantially all of its assets to another company, UZOO will transfer all of its user information and data, including information about you, to that other company.

6. Notification of Changes and Other Events. Any changes to this policy will be posted on the Site in this location. UZOO reserves the right to send you communications relating to your account, the Services, and the Terms and Conditions. You consent to receiving all notifications from UZOO through display on the Site or through email, including any notifications that UZOO is required by law to send to you.

7. Other Sites. The Services may contain links to, and media and other content from, other sites. Such third-party media and content may also contain external links. Because of the dynamic media capabilities of the Services, it may not be clear to you which links are embedded in the Services and which are embedded in third-party media and/or content. In addition, the Services may be available on third party websites, whether through embedding or partnership arrangements. UZOO cannot and does not guarantee the privacy policies and practices of any third party, including any third party website through which the Services are available. UZOO does not control, operate or endorse any information, products or services of any third-party websites or services that may be reached through links from the Services, of any Platform Application or of any third party website on which UZOO Services are available. The use of any personal information provided to such a third party will be governed by that party's privacy policy.

8. Non-U.S. Users. UZOO is hosted and operated entirely in the United States and is subject to United States law. Any personal information that you provide to UZOO is being provided to UZOO solely in the United States and will be hosted on United States servers. You consent to the transfer of your personal information to the United States. If you are accessing UZOO from outside the United States, please be advised that United States law may not offer the same privacy protections as the law of your jurisdiction.

9. Acceptance. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and subject to the terms and conditions of UZOO’s Terms of Use which is available on the Site at http://www.uzoo.com/terms. Use of the Services is subject to your compliance with the Terms of Use, which constitutes a legal agreement between you and UZOO. Each time you use the Services you signify that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by the Terms of Use, which incorporates the privacy policy, and the applicable posted guidelines. USE OF THE SERVICES SIGNIFIES THE ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS OF USE AND THE PRIVACY POLICY. If you do not agree with the terms of either of these documents, please do not provide UZOO with any information and do not use the Services. Your continued use of the Services in light of any changes to this Privacy Policy, the Terms of Use, or to the relevant principles thereof will signify your acceptance of the changes.

10. Children. UZOO does not knowingly permit children under 13 to use the Services. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13, we will delete that information.
